Emil Steglich-Petersen

I love to work with people in various professions, and view Republikkens as the perfect place for me to continuously become inspired and challenged. I have a background studying history and social science.
I co-founded Republikken in 2005 and have been an active part of developing Republikken but also supporting the general coworking and fablab culture in Denmark.
I am always interested in expanding my network and creating new exciting collaborations. Please reach out.

Ivan Lopez Garrido

General Manager


I am the General Manager at Republikken and I have 8 years of experience as the Community Manager. I have a master in history and i love playing and listening to music.

I am educated in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Copenhagen Business School, and I have previously worked in marketing & business development positions in both small and big companies. In past I cofounded a startup and organised innovation workshops around the world.
At Republikken I run our community, partnerships, business process optimisation and CX projects.

Workspace Operations Manager


I will make sure your meeting at Republikken is pleasant and well equipped with everything you may need: from post-its and markers for brainstorming to great food to feed your brain during your time at Republikken.

I have extensive experience in customer service and sales and enjoy working with people.

I have a bachelor's degree in design culture. In past I've curated artistic and theatrical events. At Republikken I curate partner and community events. If you have an idea for a cool public event you would like to host here and collaborate on, do not hesitate to contact me.

Hildur Rós Raffnsøe

Laser workshop manager & architect


Hello, my name is Hildur Rós and I am a architect. In the design process I like to focus on keeping it simple and having good dialogues with clients and builders – but also to maintaining the fun of the creative process.

I am originally from Iceland, moved to Copenhagen in 2005 to start my education in The royal academy of fine arts – school of architecture and got my diploma in 2011. In 2012 I came to Republikken and was a part of the team that designed the Café.

Johanne Brønnum Clausen



I run my own catering company out of Republikken, called Smag og Rum.
Smag og Rum delivers food in a scenography setting, from canapés to 5 meal courses. Smag og Rum is Republikkens solid supplier, but will also deliver great food outside its premises.
