We offer low cost, flexible laser cutting in Copenhagen. At Republikken you can rent laser cutters from 15 minutes to a whole day.

If you are new to laser cutting, we arrange laser cutting intro courses that provides the skillset to operate a laser cutter. We touch upon:

– How to prepare files for laser cutting and use the software to design products.

– What materials to use and how to change the settings of the laser cutter for selected materials.

– How  to operate a laser cutter and tell it to cut, engrave or raster.

Once certified you can book the laser cutter as you desire. We are always glad to get you started if you need a quick brush up before cutting. So, what are you waiting for? It has never been easier to create something by yourself!

Laser cutting pricing

Instead of buying a laser cutter, we offer you to rent a laser cutter by the hour. Everything is in place; materials, machinery, exhaust and maintenance. All you have to do is show up.

We offer great prices for users, who know how to use a laser cutter, our rates are:

Laser cutter 800×450 mm – 200 DKK/hour*
Laser cutter 1200×600 mm – 250 DKK/hour*

*Listed prices excluding VAT.

Laser cutter specifications

We use the market leading laser cutters from Universal Lasers Systems. The Universal laser cutters are the most versatile and performance consistent lasers on the market and provides uniform cuttings.

In particular, we have a VLS6.60 cutter and a ILS 12.150 laser cutter. They are CO2 laser cutters, which provides for clean cuts and uniform engraving.

You can bring your own material to laser cut or ask us to order what you need. The laser cutters can cut many types of material, comprising but not restricted to:

• Acrylic (max 8 mm)
• HDF (max 12 mm)
• Leather
• Filt
• Stamp rubber
• Paper
• Cardboard
• Plywood (max 9 mm)
