From Sales to Software
Joe started his professional life in sales, but his curiosity about technology and people couldn’t be ignored. While working in sales, he began building databases, which sparked his interest in programming. Determined to pursue this passion, Joe completed a two-month intensive bootcamp that equipped him with the skills to land his first developer role. Today, he works as a software engineer and solutions architect at Homeflow, mentoring others and crafting innovative solutions.

Joe’s journey to Copenhagen began after a memorable summer visit to a friend in Malmö. He quickly fell in love with the city’s charm and vibrant community. Now thriving in Republikken’s creative environment, Joe embraces its energy, which aligns with his philosophy of exploring life and embracing change.

Beyond coding, Joe dives into improv comedy, salsa dancing, and mentoring. For him, improv is a tool for self-expression and connection—much like his consultative sales days. He’s passionate about human stories, which fuel his love for coaching and exploring new career paths.
