We’re stepping into 2026 with the same creative energy and warm camaraderie that made 2025 so special. Last year was a milestone, as 2025 marked Republikken’s 20th anniversary, and our community’s growth and enthusiasm are still going strong. Now, as we welcome 2026, we’re excited to build on that momentum with a host of events that celebrate the spirit of creativity, connection, and playfulness that defines our coworking family.
In the first half of 2026 (and into the summer), there’s lots to look forward to. Here’s a preview of some standout events coming up on our community calendar:
Ocean Screening & Tasting: We’re bringing the big blue to Republikken together with Better. Join us for a special screening of Sir David Attenborough’s Ocean, paired with a tasting experience. In partnership with our friends at Better, this evening will mix learning and leisure.
Cake Festival: Our famous Cake Festival returns, and it’s bound to satisfy your sweet tooth and your creative spirit. This beloved Republikken tradition invites everyone to unleash their inner baker. Bring in your most imaginative homemade cake or simply come ready to taste and marvel at the spread. We’ll turn the coworking space into a cozy café filled with frosting, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter. (Insider tip: arrive hungry.)
Garden Chill Friday Bar: As the days get longer, we’ll be celebrating summer vibes at a Garden Chill edition of our Friday Bar. Think cold drinks, good music, and great company in our outdoor courtyard. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the week. Relax under the open sky with your fellow members. Whether you’re into draft beer or just a soda and sunshine, come unwind and kick off the summer weekends, Republikken-style.
Summer Party & Garden Games: Save the date for one of the biggest bashes of the year. Our annual Summer Party is back, complete with Garden Games on the lawn. This is an evening of pure playfulness and community joy. We’ll have everything from classic lawn games to quirky challenges that get everyone laughing and teaming up. Expect tasty food, maybe a themed cocktail or two, and a lot of high-fives. It’s our way of celebrating the season and all of you who make Republikken special. Trust us, you won’t want to miss the highlight of the summer.
Of course, along with these special events, our regular community gatherings will keep rolling to make every week at Republikken engaging:
Community Breakfasts – Every Thursday morning, start your day with coffee, croissants, and conversation. It’s a casual meetup where we often have a member share a project or a little “morning talk” to inspire us.
New Member Intros – Each month, we host an intro session for newcomers. If you’ve just joined, come by to meet the team and get to know how we do things (and let us get to know you).
Coffee Workshops – Calling all coffee want to be enthusiasts. Keep an eye out for our occasional barista workshops. They’re a fun chance to learn how to brew the perfect cup and bond with other caffeine lovers in the community.
Community Friday Bars – Get together to network, socialize, and have fun. Look out for more Community Friday Bars in all shapes and sizes.
Through all these events, the spirit of creativity, connection, and fun that is core to Republikken shines through. We can’t wait to see familiar and new faces alike coming together, sharing ideas at breakfast, teaming up during garden games, or simply chatting over a cup of coffee.
