As the year draws to a close, Republikken is brimming with holiday cheer after an eventful 2025. It was a year of milestones, merriment, and meaningful connections. From a sun-soaked summer party to a team run in the park, our coworking community had plenty to smile about.
And yes, we even traded our laptops for running shoes (and cheering from the sidelines) one evening. It turns out that teams who run together have even more fun—plus a few sore legs the next day.
From Workspace to Garden Games: Summer Fun in the Sun
In June, we turned our courtyard into an outdoor stadium for Republikken’s Summer Party and Garden Games. We gathered for lawn games under the summer sun, enjoying friendly competition that brought coworkers closer. Laughter filled the air as new friendships formed over cold drinks and laughter. By day’s end, it was clear: our community knows how to work hard and play hard.
From Race Track to Tech Meetup: Community on the Move
Late August saw dozens of members lace up for the annual DHL Relay – the world’s largest (and coziest) 5K race. We ran, we cheered, and we celebrated afterward with a well-earned picnic. Our team spirit went the distance.
Not long before we were wearing running shoes, we were also part of one of Copenhagen’s biggest tech events. Republikken partnered with Propane for TechBBQ Day 0 to host an AI Community Breakfast on-site, bringing entrepreneurs (and plenty of coffee) through our doors. It was inspiring to see our crew connect with the wider tech ecosystem.
20 Years of Community (and Counting)
In October, we celebrated a major milestone: Republikken turned 20 years old! That’s two decades of bold ideas, inspiring people, and creative startups calling this place home. We marked the anniversary in style—past and present members came together under festive lights to share stories from the early days and raise toasts to the future (with incredible food from Smag og Rum, of course). It was a heartfelt night that reminded us Republikken isn’t just about the space or the events—it’s about the people.
We capped off the year with cozy holiday traditions: a Julehygge gathering with homemade gløgg and a lively gift exchange, plus our annual Christmas lunch. December was all about togetherness and gratitude as we wrapped up 2025 on a high note.
These were just a few of many spectacular moments from 2025 and with 2026 on the horizon, we have even bigger plans brewing. You won’t want to miss it.
