Sandra Strabo - Community Breakfast - Republikken

Meet Sandra – A Multi-Talented Trailblazer

At this week’s Community Breakfast, we met Sandra—mindset coach, hairdresser, engineer and the visionary behind N(Y)OOMOON, a company revolutionizing menstrual care. With what she calls a “popcorn brain,” Sandra blends creativity, tech know-how, and lived experience to design menstrual products that are easier to use, safer, and just plain smarter.

She’s working on both a menstrual cup and a disc, each designed with first-time users in mind. The goal? To reduce pain, confusion, and the dreaded “Where did it go?” moment many of us know too well.

Innovation Rooted in Experience

Sandra’s journey started with a bad experience using a menstrual cup. That discomfort turned into curiosity, which turned into innovation. “I realized I wasn’t the only one,” she shared, “and I just couldn’t let it go.”

Her new designs tackle usability head-on. The cup, for instance, has an innovative emptying system to break the suction seal painlessly. The disc? It’s built for comfort and can even stay in during sex—without compromising hygiene.

She’s engineering everything down to the perfect material thickness and flexibility. No investor pressure here—just passion, user testing, and a real desire to help women feel confident and safe.

Not Just About Business

Sandra isn’t chasing unicorn status. She’s looking for the right solutions, not just the fast ones. While many investors focus on return, Sandra focuses on the why. “I want all women to use these,” she says. “That’s the return I care about.”

Oh—and if you ever need UX testing setups or facilitation workshops, she’s got that covered too. Popcorn brain, remember?

Let’s just say: If menstrual care had a rockstar, Sandra would be center stage.
