At this week’s Community Breakfast, we met Nitin Arora—a self-declared comfort-zone escaper with a passport to prove it. Born in Frankfurt and raised by Indian parents, Nitin always thought he’d stay put in Germany. That is, until a semester abroad in Lisbon changed everything.
During the quiet chaos of COVID, he packed his bags and flew to Portugal. “If the world is standing still, why not have it stand still somewhere sunny?” he said. And just like that, he caught the travel bug. Big time.
So when he returned to Frankfurt, he knew it was time for a change. As he looked towards his master’s degree, Nitin aimed high—and applied to Copenhagen Business School (CBS). One of Europe’s top-ranked institutions, CBS offered both world-class education and a fresh new chapter.
A Passion for Movement—In Every Sense
If there’s one thread tying Nitin’s life together, it’s motion. Whether he’s dancing salsa, playing squash, or picking up a new hobby, Nitin finds joy in keeping both body and mind active. His dream Sunday? “Sports with friends, good food, and maybe a Thai curry after.” Sign us up.
This love of movement shows up in his mindset, too. “Trying new things keeps life exciting,” he said. And from switching countries to (sort of) learning Danish, he’s living proof.
Working Remotely, Socially
Nitin recently started a remote job—but sitting alone wasn’t an option. On day two, he landed at Republikken, searching for energy and connection. He found both. “You all adopted me instantly,” he said, nodding to the 1PM Club regulars.
By day, Nitin works at Fireblocks, helping companies securely manage digital assets like Bitcoin. He’s in sales—but don’t picture a pushy pitchman. Nitin sees himself more as a guide. “I treat sales like it’s my own business,” he explained. “You succeed when your clients trust you.”
And with his thoughtful, curious energy? We believe they do.
Whether you’re dreaming of your next trip, figuring out your crypto options, or just craving a lunch buddy—Nitin’s your guy. Just don’t challenge him to a squash match unless you’re ready to sweat.
