At today’s Community Breakfast, we met a true product nerd (his words, not ours): Sune Theodorsen, founder of Felix Technologies. His journey started over 20 years ago in the digital art scene, creating one of the earliest online art communities. It evolved through startup rocket rides—hello, Tradeshift—and eventually landed in real estate tech. Naturally.
Today, Sune is rethinking how professional landlords manage properties across countries. His platform, Felix, replaces old-school systems (read: Windows 95 vibes) with smart tools for tenant engagement, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Think fewer spreadsheets, more value.
Built for Real Needs
Felix isn’t a weekend hack. It’s the result of 8 years of development, originally crafted for Sune’s co-living startup, LifeX. Now, it’s helping landlords improve the tenant experience and give staff their time back. No more 3-day email replies or paper trails.
And yes, it connects to utilities, sends bills, and even has a tenant app and APIs. It’s basically SaaS heaven. If SaaS heaven included building maintenance and water meters .
Co-Living Cousins & Craft Beer
While Sune’s not big on conferences, his team is out meeting co-living and co-working people with Republikken included. That connection matters, because our communities share DNA: people-first spaces, tech-backed operations, and occasionally… home-brewed beer.
Yes, Sune brews beer. With his brother. They’ve never made the same one twice, and that’s kind of the point. Brewing forces him to slow down, unwind, and focus on something analog. Like Christmas in a keg .
What Sune Needs (and Offers)
Need feedback on your product? Sune’s your guy. Just pull him away from his screen for a quick foosball match first. And if you know any talented engineers or real estate operators looking to level up. Please send them his way.
We’re lucky to have Felix in the Republikken family. And if you’re ever offered a beer from Sune… say yes.
